Profile of Aldi Satya Mahendra, Indonesian Young Rider at the Valentino Rossi Academy

The young Indonesian racer, Aldi Satya Mahendra, had a golden opportunity to study at the Valentino Rossi academy. He participated in the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp program which was held in Italy on 6-11 June 2022.

This young man from Bantul, Yogyakarta was born on June 27, 2006. Aldi has participated in racing championships since 2015 until now, and he has achieved many achievements while competing in motorcycle racing events.

In 2019, Aldi participated in the Asia Road Racing Championship, he managed to make achievements ranging from, 1st place in ARRC Round 4 Suzuka International Circuit, 3rd place in ARRC Round 5 Zhuhai International Circuit, 3rd place in ARRC Round 6 Sepang International Circuit, and 6th place. final standings.

In addition, in the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp program, Aldi had the opportunity to improve his knowledge and skills up a professional European level racer. As well as a good physical training method for a racing athlete.

Aldi underwent various kinds of training ranging from Flat Track at Motor Ranch Tavullia, Fisio Gym, E-Sport Session, Soft Cross, Track Session, Mini Supermoto, R3 Session at Galliano Park, and others. In addition, during this program Aldi was trained by professional instructors.

Not only that, Aldi also had the opportunity to meet and be motivated with MotoGP mega stars including world champion Valentino Rossi.

“I feel very happy to join the Master Camp because I have always wanted to take part in these activities and finally this year I can achieve it. The preparations that have been made before joining the Master Camp, I have participated in ARRC Round 2 in Sepang and the results, Alhamdulillah, were quite satisfactory,” Aldi said in his statement some time ago.

“I also can’t wait to be able to experience training at The Ranch track, as well as meet and train directly with Valentino Rossi who is the world champion and also one of my favorite riders,” he added.

“I hope that by participating in this Master Camp, I can continue to develop and get the best results, and can use the knowledge gained later to improve my career as a racer. And interestingly, Maiki Abe, who is the son of Norifumi Abe, will also take part in this training,” he said.

With the existence of this VR46 Master Camp, hopefully Aldi will get important lessons, moral injections and improve his experience which can be an important asset for him in competing in national and international racing world events.
