Honda is ready to re-launch its newest automatic motorbike variant to tackle its main competitor, the Yamaha Aerox 155. But not in Indonesia, the new automatic motorbike which is expected to use a 160 cc engine will make its debut in Vietnam.
Currently, Honda already has the Vario 160 which can be said to be the main competitor of the Yamaha Aerox 155. However, in terms of design, the two scooters are quite different, where the Aerox 155 has a hump-deck model, while the Vario 160 has a flat deck.
Well, actually there is one Honda automatic motorcycle model whose design language is similar to the Aerox 155, with a humped deck model, namely the Honda Air Blade. The automatic motor is currently marketed in Vietnam with a 150 cc engine. But there is the latest news if the Air Blade will be born in the latest version.

Quoted from great biker, there is important evidence in the form of registration of the motorcycle model name with the code AB160 in Vietnam. It is known that it will be the code for the All New Air Blade 160. Currently the Air Blade is marketed in two engine options, 125 cc and 150 cc.
The All New Air Blade 160 is expected to use the eSP+ engine used in the PCX160 and Click 160 aka Vario 160. This eSP+ engine has complete specifications of a 157cc single cylinder, SOHC four stroke, four valve, radiator cooled, which produces 15.4 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. This motorbike uses a fuel injection system, with a compression ratio of 12.0 : 1.
The All New Honda Air Blade 160 is believed to be launched in 2022, and we will have to wait and see after it debuts in Vietnam for the first time. Does this motorbike have the opportunity to be sold in other countries such as Indonesia?
